About Julie

Julie Aitcheson is a writer-on-the-loose, educator-on-the-edge, and actress-at-large. Her young adult novels, Cross and First Girl, are slated for release from Harmony Ink Press in Fall 2017 and Spring 2018, respectively. Julie’s other designations include: purposeful wanderer, ceaseless ponderer, and humble neophyte in the art of the pregnant pause. Her wayfaring ways have carried her from the Brazilian Amazon to the foothills of the Himalayas and beyond. A shaman once told her that she was a bird who kept mistaking herself for a tree, which set her off on a mission to realize the perfect balance of roots and wings. Her search for the modern, mythical Treebird continues.
